Princess Beatrice visits Hospital for sick children

Princess Beatrice visits hospital for sick children. This was her first official engagement as patron of the sick friends foundation. The last patron of this foundation was the Queen mother, big steps to fill, but I think she did an excellent job today. She took some time to learn about how things around the hospital worked. She had genuine interest about the staff and  patients. Everyone seemed happy that the princess had visited the hospital, thinking this engagement was a success.. A heart clenching moment was when a little girl gave her flowers. I know it’s normal for royalty to recieve flowers, but when  the girl smiled it was cute.  To me it seems that princess beatrice left a good impression on the patients and staff.  I think she made the patient’s day a little bit better. To me this confirms that she has a special spark to give to people through humanitarian work, and I hope she gets many more chances to do this.  what really makes me like her is that she’s not a working royal who gets  paid by the British tax payers. She’s just a civilian who’s not obligated to do charity work, but she does this anyways out of genuine interests. I say if  she wants to become a working royal then they should let her as long as she pulls her own weight and does her royal duties, which I don’t think  she will  disappointment the public. Until then keep up with the good humanitarian work princess Bea.

  1. Always refreshing to read about Princess Beatrice. She really is a breath of fresh air in the monarchy. It’s a shame she’s typically eclipsed by other royals!

  2. She’s always out doing things like this. It’s just not covered to make others look good *cough*, but she’s always active… Any news if she’s engaged yet?!

  3. Love it, what an antidote to her Lazyship!!!!

Is there any chance we could make her Queen Bea, could we start a petition?
