She attended this event Along, with her boyfriend Dave Clark. Her cousin Prince Harry of Wales and close friends the Bransons, Cressida Bonas and celebrities like Evanna Lynch who plays Luna Lovegood from Harry Potter and great activist like Malala Yousafzai, whom Princess Beatrice met last year during a royal event were also in attendance.
We Day is the movement of our time, empowering a generation of young global citizens through an inspirational event and a year-long educational initiative. Inspiring youth to change the world: that’s our goal with We Day.
You can’t buy a ticket to We Day—you earn it through volunteerism and service. From 2012 to 2013 alone, We Day inspired:
- 4.5 million hours of youth volunteerism
- Youth to raise $11 million for hundreds of local and international causes.
We Day and the We Act programme are free of charge to the thousands of students and teachers in attendance at the event and across the country, thanks to the generous support of sponsors led in the UK by Virgin Atlantic and Barclays. We Day UK is co-chaired by Holly Branson and Lord Rumi Verjee. The event will also be streamed live on 7 March 2014 starting at 9:30 a.m.
